Driving Lessons in:

If you ring me and it goes to voicemail, I'm on a lesson. I won't answer calls while on a lesson. As well as not being fair to my pupil, it's illegal. Leave a message with a name and number and I promise I'll ring you ASAP.

Need intensive driving lessons in Downpatrick, like, NOW?

Need a driving licence, like, NOW?

While all of my lessons are intensive sometimes a bit more is required.

Sometimes a licence is needed quickly because of:

 A new job

 Family reasons

 Going abroad

Don't be under any illusions. Taking intensive driving lessons around Downpatrick several times a week is hard going and should not be taken on lightly.

It requires a lot of commitment and concentration, but if you have the right motivation, its perfectly possible.

Please don't ring me and tell me that you've booked your practical test in a weeks time and you need lots of hours of lessons!

I will work with you the best I can but don't expect me to inconvenience my existing pupils.

The main thing to remember is, give me a bit of notice.

Understand that, ultimately, you are asking to use my car on the practical driving test without my supervision.

I won't give you the key of my car until I'm convinced you are likely to be safe and pass the test.

Plus, I don't want a reputation of putting forward drivers who are not test ready.

I don't just teach you 'tricks' to pass the test, there are no short cuts.

I just push you harder!

If you have the need, I'll get you through the driving test.

Check out a couple of pupil's stories below.

If you are in a hurry...

You can't even book your practical driving test until you pass the theory test and it can take 2-3 weeks to get a theory test date.

Don't think you can wing it through the theory test, prepare for it!

If you fail, its another 2-3 weeks wait for a re-test, never mind the cost. Its up to you.

Need more advice?

Ring me and I'll be happy to give you any advice about passing your driving test.

Aine Lynne from Downpatrick was starting a new job with the Sunday Times in London and was keen to have a driving licence before she left.

With a lot of hard work she passed with flying colours the week before she left.

Issac McCully from Downpatrick had to travel to Canada for six months as part of a university course and wanted to be able to drive when he got there.

'I can drive, ten hours will do me' he said.

Well, he was a bit optimistic but he did pass in 20 hours including his driving test.

A really good result. Well done, Issac.
